Born in Mahalla al-Kubra- Egypt in 1970.

Awards & Residencies and Exhibitions:
2001: Received a scholarship as a guest student at the Royal Academy of Arts, Stockholm – Sweden.
2005: Winner of Cultural Resource Award for financing youth artistic projects, and through it the installation: Two versions for Holes” was held, 2006 – Goethe-Institute Dokki-Cairo.
2007: Participated in the 52nd Venice Biennale in the Egyptian Pavilion.
2010: Winner of the fourth prize in the script competition of the Zagora Film Festival (Across the Sahara), Morocco, for the script “I Walk on a Map”.
2011: Had an artistic residency for three weeks at the Foundation La frèche Belle De mai- Marseille – France.
2012: Participated at Sarajevo International Biennale – Egyptian Show.
2016: Launched “The City – Man” Exhibition – Behna Agency – Alexandria.
2018: Launched “The Code Woman” exhibition.
2019: Launched “Code Zero” exhibition – Gallery of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria.
2020: Founding member of the Green Hall Podcast and Founder of the “Popular Stories and Tales” program.
2021: Participated in Artists’ studios – Alexandria Atelier for Artists and Writers.
2021: Member of the Jury of the 31st Youth Salon.
2021-22: Participated at 42nd and 43th General Exhibition at the Opera Art Center.
